Intel celeron heatsink

Hi all, My son has a problem with a heatsink for a 775 pin celeron, when installing it, one of the weird clips that retains the heatsink failed to properly clip in! and it also appears that a blade has become separated from the cooling fan! I'd be embarassed to return to the supplier as I think the problems are caused by more than one thumb per hand! (not mine!) Are replacement bits available and from where?
