hp psc printer

Hello all

Some coercive elements in my life have organised a gift certificate for me.

I'm thinking of applying it towards an hp psc 2350. This is one that's also a 
scanner and will print straight off a digital camera. Prints to a-4 and on 
borderless photo paper. 

Linuxprinting.org's report is reasonable and looks like it'd suit our needs 
but I'm wondering if anyone on the list has something to say about it one way 
or the other especially in relation to operating with cups and linux
