The compatibility page only list devices but the quickstart still says 386 
with 36 mb ram and 300 mb hd, but hey!... this is linux and we all know we 
can run linux on old out of date documentation if theres nothing else to run 
it on.

I'd give it a go if I was in the" everything's running ok and I'm bored so I 
think Ill install something" mood. This happens to me from time to time.

IPCop is a pretty quick little install so if you can restore your 1.3 with the 
floppy give it a go. If it's to slow its just another little bit to reinstall 
back.

once your in the IPCop-1.4.x install the setup program it will look pretty 
much the same but there are some new options which so if you don't remember 
and you don't want to risk the disk not working you could always ssh into the 
1.3 and run setup. Your settings will be default when you enter setup and you 
can note them down before you install 1.4x
