This is my sources.list:

deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian testing main contrib non-free

deb http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/ ../project/experimental main
deb-src http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/ ../project/experimental main

The non-us sites give a 404 because the restrictions on cryptographic
stuff is now over and non-us will no longer be there.
The security sites also give a 404 as etch has no security updates.

The updates from the others come down fine. Use apt-spy to find the
fastest download sites for your area and then update.
