Hello all,

Just spent a couple of weekends "playing with" wireless. Had success,
but after lots of hunting around downloading drivers ( from Windows XP)
and putting them inside a "wrapper" ( Ndiswrapper ) for it to run under
Linux.

Wireless and Linux is almost like Win-modems; you really struggle to get
drivers that work under Linux. Even more so of late, As the later
versions of the same card that use to work under Linux now doesn't
( manufacturer use a different chipset in the meantime that no longer
uses the driver that was supported under Linux ).

No problem with the router WAP ( I have a Linksys WRT54G which is a Linux box ).

I was wondering if other people have had similar experiences.

Regards,
