This Friday is the monthly Melbourne Wireless meeting. This weeks meeting is quite different from the normal ones. Lined up this month, we have: 1) A presentation by Roger Venning on OSPF and an example of it working live in action! This includes what happens when a node goes offline! 2) A quick demonstration of installing OpenWRT on Linksys WRT54GS routers by yours truely. I'll be talking about the installation, what to be careful of, what you'll need to do, and how to revert back to Linksys firmware if you don't like OpenWRT. If you have a WRT54 you would like to have OpenWRT installed on, feel free to bring it along! I will also be demonstrating some of the functionality that can be added to the WRT range when using OpenWRT.
