Yep in the last few days I have been playing with this as a way to be able to ssh to my servers off my users desktops from a linux distro. That way I don't have to install any extra programs like putty on the users workstation. Incredibly it works very well. I also chose to stick all the files on the root of the stick and then i used syslinux.exe to install a boot sector to the stick. So now I can boot from the stick asa well as run it in the emulator within windows. Changing from different Kbd and mouse and xwindow settings when either booting from the stick or using the emulator, isn't particularly smooth though. I have been trying to figure out the boot scripts to see how I can get the X environment from being loaded and instaed run the xsetup.sh script prior to xwindows starting up. That way I can deal with the many different workstations that i come across. If I could use Alt-F1 or Ctrl-Alt-F1 etc in the emulator to access virtual terminals I could just kill the xsession, but that only seems to work when booting off the stick. Any tips with this would be much appreciated. Regards, Geoff
