This magazine produced in Munich but issued here in English is obviously making a big push. It seems to be in all the newsagents. I just bought the September issue number 58 which contains a DVD with Debian Sarge 3.1 which was the big attraction. Unfortunately the install bombs out at "retrieving base-installer" on both a desktop and laptop so I suppose I have a faulty DVD. Has anyone else had this experience or is it just my copy of the DVD? They have an offer at the moment for 3 issues for AUD15 posted to your home address so I have snagged that. I don't think that the mag content is as good as Linux Format but quite good. My APC mag arrived today. It has Slackware 10.1 unfortunately which I got from Linux Format a few months back. I quite like it but the updates and addons are nowhere near as user-friendly as Debian-based distros such as Mepis which I am using at present. Morrison
