I'm looking to build a new box for myself over the next couple of weeks.

My initial idea was get a 64-bit AMD processor and an ASUS board (like
the A8N-VM CSM). I intend to get one or more SATA drives. The box will run
Debian testing and I intend to use it for some experimentation with DVD burning
and analogue to digital conversion.

I'd appreciate comments from anyone who has gone down this path.

Second order of business - I have a Canon BJC-265SP printer to give
away. Email me off list about this if you're interested.
