Robert Parker is a darn nice person I don't care what anybody says! <snip> > The internal modem is a must I'm afraid but not all internal modems are > win modems these days no? <snip> If the internal modem is a winmodem but has a lucent chipset there shouldn't be a problem I never had a problem with compiling drivers for winmodems with lucent chips with ltmodem drivers. It is a script driven process against kernel source but the ltmodem package must be matched to the kernel. It was pretty painless the last time I used it. I've been adsl for a year and a half now so can't say more than that. -- Cheers, Rick Miles Movement stopped is no movement, and rest set in motion is no rest.
