The organization requires a volunteer to conduct an IT needs assessment & propose & implement solutions, including staff training. If you are interested, please contact me and I can send you more information about this assignments. For information on ABV, visit our website at www.abv.org.au <http://www.abv.org.au/> . We are very keen to help this community-focused group- they provide a much needed services to very impoverished communities. The volunteer will need experience with networking systems, including wired and wireless technology, experience with Linux (Knoppix, Ubuntu, and/or Debian) and practical technical experience in installing internet systems within an office environment and knowledge of "low cost" network (internet) connection technology.
