It seems I've lost the ability to access Commonwealth's Netbank services using Konqueror even if I am set to spoof IE/XP or Safari/OSX. Seems to be something recent as I've used Konqueror with Netbank for a couple years. It might be a change to CB's website or the fact that I've upgraded to KDE-3.5.3. Typical error message is: "An error occurred while loading http://www.commbank.com.au/Netbank/browsersniff.asp: Could not connect to host www3.netbank.commbank.com.au.' Has anyone else had problems with CB access with Konqueror? I'm fine using Firefox and can even access with IE-6 with CXoffice (although I don't as a general rule ) For those interested Commbank sez: "Our testing has shown that NetBank will also work with the following: Mozilla, Firefox and Safari version 1.2(Mac Operating System X, browers. Mozilla Version 1.7.3 Version (Windows 98, Windows 2000 SP4, Windows ME and Windows NT 4.0 SP6a) 1.7.3 Version (Windows XP SP1/SP2) 1.0.2 Version (Mac OS 9) 1.7.3 Version (Mac OS X) Firefox 1.0 Version (Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0(SP6a), Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP and Mac OS X) Safari 1.2 Version (Mac OS X) For best results with NetBank, we recommend: For Windows Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 6.0 SP1 and Windows XP with the latest service pack installed. For Macintosh Netscape Version 7.2 with Mac OS X or Netscape Version 7.02 with Mac OS 9." Almost sounds like "For best results use manufacturer approved replacement parts only" BTW, who manufactured the internet??
