Re: Command-line POP3S client for gmail?

Thanks, Anthony. Creating a one-line shell script:

#!/bin/sh
/usr/bin/openssl s_client -quiet -connect pop.gmail.com:995 2>/dev/null

and pointing xinetd.conf to it did the trick.
