Yes, I recently purchased one for $1610. For me doing digital
photography and writing computer programs, resolution is important,
both color and spatial. The LP3065, like the upcoming Dell 3007WFP-HC,
uses a wide color gamut cold-cathode fluorescent tube (CCFL-WCG). So,
the monitor covers 92% of the NTSC gamut vs. 75% for the current Dell
3007WFP.

Sounds like an excellent deal for your needs. We've used a 42" lower
resolution plasma display for a departemental status
display. Sometimes there is no substitute for size.
