Hey all. I have a couple of old xbox's (non-360) laying around and thought I would try to convert one to a linux box. There are plenty of websites out there showing how to do it but I wondered if anybody in Albuquerque has actually done it and can offer some help. I've looked at various sites and determined that my version is 1.4 and can be software converted...I just need to source the parts to do it. My kids go through DVD's and games like no tomorrow. I hear that I can rip and play my DVD's from my already existing Samba Server and I've also heard that I could go as far as rip and play xbox games from the server. Can anybody offer any advice and/or locations on where I can get whatever I need to install software. Original mechwarrior game and some wiring diagrams to use a regular keyboard with the xbox usb port are what I think I need. Thanks!
