My main computer consumes 83 watts at idle, according to the powermeter 
built into the power supply (that's not counting the monitor) - Athlon 
X2 5200+, Seagate 250Gb. SATA, Geforce 8600GT.  You can buy your own 
powermeter (Kill-A-Watt P4400) for under $20 and measure the consumption
