If you are installing VMWare (Player/Server/Workstation) on WinXP
stations and mounting the VM from the workstation then CIFS should work.
But you could not share a single VM and have multiple XP mount and use
it.  You'd have to clone the into many VM's, unless you had something
like VMWare VDI or NetApps's FlexClone.
