I agree!

Back in the days of unconnected computers: Apple II, DOS, CP/M. etc. there was little need for administrator accounts - the computer was not connected to a network. In this age, unless you choose to to run your machine completely standalone (all the time) you are subject to a myriad of probes which can lead to attacks - just look at a firewall intrusion detection log if you you doubt me. The layers of protection are necessary: firewall, permissions. acounts unless, as earlier stated, you don't intend to connect to any network, service or other computer.
