I was thinking about ordering a FreeRunner. They look great. My one reservation is that, even though I don't live where 3G networks are available, experiencing 75kb/s downloads through my 3G phone while in Albuquerque was cool. (45kb in the Tulsa, OK, area last week.) Let me know what kind of data transfers you get, and what carrier you're using. I'd like to know if the FreeRunner is an option... oh, yeah, I'm an AT&T customer, now. jody On Fri, Jul 4, 2008 at 12:21 PM, andres <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > Just wanted to share that today July 4th, > Openmoko started shipping the new Neo-Freerunner, > > I just purchased mine, hopefully receiving it next Tuesday. > a truly open sourced mobile phone that runs on Linux > Has GPS (and socket for external antenna), G2.5, WiFi, Bluethoot, USB > ports, etc, etc, > check it out, > > http://www.openmoko.com > > http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/WhyOpenMoko > > A real envy for those brickable iphones! > > > > _______________________________________________ > NMLUG mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.b9.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nmlug > > -- http://www.opendiscipleship.org/ http://www.RealizationSystems.com/ -- start communicating http://www.GalacticSlacker.com/ -- read it and weep _______________________________________________ NMLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.b9.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nmlug
