Wiki's with security

I'm looking for Wiki software, or a Wiki service provider, which can
provide me my own Wiki content namespace, and some ability to
have both public, and private (password-protected) content.

Public content for the usual WWW publishing,
and some private areas for club-member contact info, directions
to meeting places, etc.
I would like for those club members with enough interest
to be able to edit the club-site's content.

MediaWiki is out, because it does not have private/public pages.

I might consider a CMS like Drupal, but it appears that getting
getting wiki content on Drupal is a bit tricky.
I have also found that most typical users are intimidated by
Drupal, and unlikely to edit pages or create content.

Any suggestions are welcome.
