Not having a phone seems to cut the cost in half (at least).
I got a Belkin WiFi phone for skype... but it stinks.
Drops calls. Drops WiFi connections for no reason.
No riger.
I should have spent more $$ for a full mobile computing
device (like iPod Touch or Nokia 810).
It would be nice to stay with LINUX or Android.
If I were to design a tablet with IP telephony in mind,
I would give it an optional LOUD ringer.
It could be a low-power buzzer or beep (not ring tone).
Something you can hear from across the house.
Definately NOT through the ear speaker, which can be deafening
if you get an incoming call while doing something else!
