Canon drivers.... (hmm?)

Doing a little research on a pet project....

It turns out that Canon supports Linux (and Unix and OS/400) in Europe, but
not in the Americas. If you go to the Canon-Europe site, you can download
current drivers for pretty much any Canon printer. (I didn't look at all the
other Canon products.)

I'm a big fan of Canon cameras, but I've always stayed clear of their
computer hardware because I knew (or I thought I knew) that they "don't play
well with Linux."

Just thought I'd pass this along in case it affected anyone else.
