Bored this weekend? Come help at the SCLUG installfest!

The South Coast Linux Users' Group is running a Debian-specific installfest
this weekend (19/20 March) -- all weekend.  We've got 60 super-eager Uni
kids who want their home machines to look and act just like the Uni lab
machines (which all run Debian Sarge, w00t!).

So, we're running four 3 hour sessions (10-1, 1:30-4:30, both days) to run
them through a Sarge install and then stick all of the packages that they'll
use at Uni on as well.

We've got a couple of people who've volunteered to come and help out at one
or more of the sessions, but more helpers are always appreciated.  This will
allow us to get through the installs faster and smoother, and really get the
participants fired up about this Linux stuff.

Free lunch (pizza) will be provided by the Uni, and we're doing a dinner
Saturday night for those who want to hang around.  I've got floor space for
anyone who wants to crash down here over night, and the trains down here are
running as well as they ever are (cough).  Take the train to North
Wollongong station and follow the map at the station, or call me on 0421 257
433 in the morning (before 10am when we'll all be busy installing Linux) and
we'll send someone to the station to pick you up.

If you're planning on coming down on either day, please let me know ASAP so
we can make sure there's spare food for you.

Also, there are maps of the route from the train station to the Uni, and

map of the campus at http://www.uow.edu.au/about/campusmap/map.html.  We'll
be in building 3, but since the Uni is paranoid, the doors will probably be
locked during the sessions, so call me on 0421 257 433 and we'll come and
let you in.
