Hi all, A reminder about the codefest this coming Sunday. (If you have any questions for me personally, please make sure to Cc me, I am not subscribed to [email protected]). --- Event details --- SLUG coders will be gathering together for a day of coding and talking about coding. Date: Sunday April 9 2006 Location: UTS Broadway, room CB01.05.10B. This room is in building 1 -- the main tower building -- floor 5, the level immediately above the main entrance. A map of the general area is available at http://www.uts.edu.au/about/mapsdirections/citymap.html and a campus map at http://www.uts.edu.au/about/mapsdirections/bway.html Time: 10am - 8pm There will be short talks given by Ben Leslie, Robert Collins and Andrew Bennetts. Some people will head off for a yum cha lunch at Golden Harbour in Chinatown and attendees are welcome to come. Approximate cost will be $25. --- What to bring --- Bring your laptops and power supplies, spares if you're able to and generous ;) (It is unlikely in the extreme that we will have access to terminals.) Other things that are always useful include: - power boards - extension cords - spare wireless cards - ethernet cables - ethernet hubs It is a good idea to label things like this with your name. UTS 'net access tends to have some restrictions on it, and for all I know they've changed again, so have a local copy of the source code you intend to hack on, and of relevant bug reports, documentation and email with you. -Mary -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User Group Announcements List - http://slug.org.au More info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/announce
