Next SLUG Meeting - Friday 31st January, 2003

Monthly meeting for January

   When:
          Friday, January 31, 6:30pm - 9:30pm

   Where:
          UTS Broadway

          This month's meeting is NOT in the usual location. It will be
          held in UTS building 4, room 4.GD.02. Directions are at the
          bottom of this mail.

   There have been some changes to this month's meeting since the last
   announcement: the whole meeting will be consumed by linux.conf.au
   craziness: news, reports and more :)

   We're hoping to reschedule Peter Miller's talk in the next month or
   two.

     * The Usual Suspects - Starts 6:30pm
          + Q&A - "What has Linux done for/to me lately?" + SLUG News &
            Discussion

     * 7:10pm: Linux.conf.au wrapup.
     * 8:00pm: Break
     * 8:20pm: More linux.conf.au craziness.
     * Dinner - Starts around 9:15pm

   Spice Boys for Dinner. It's $20 for mains, around 30 people.

Directions:

   Walk down Harris St from Broadway. Go past the Book Shop on the
   corner, News +Agent, Coffee Shop and the glass doors to Building 3.
   Cross the laneway under +the bridge and walk up the ramp to the next
   building. Go in the glass doors.

   Room 4.GD.02 is Uni Hall and is on the left hand side of the foyer as
   you come in. This is the ground floor.
