SLUG committee 2003

The 2003/2004 SLUG committee was elected at tonight's Annual General
Meeting.

The 2003/2004 committee is:

 President: Jeff Waugh

 Vice-president: Tony Green

 Secretary: Mary Gardiner

 Treasurer: Jamie Wilkinson

 General committee members: Jaime Hemmett, Jan Schmidt, Peter Hardy

The complete results of the election were:

 President: 
        Jeff Waugh (elected, 27 votes), Peter Hardy (6 votes)

 Vice-President: 
        Tony Green (elected, 27 votes), Jan Schmidt (10 votes)

 Secretary:
        Mary Gardiner (elected, 17 votes), Jaime Hemmett (14 votes),
        Peter Hardy (2 votes)

 Treasurer:
        Jamie Wilkinson (elected unopposed)

 General committee members:
        Jaime Hemmett (elected, 30 votes), Jan Schmidt (elected, 27
        votes), Peter Hardy (elected, 23 votes), Ken Foskey (20 votes).

If you're wondering about the accuracy of the tallies: it seems not
everyone eligible to vote actually did so in each separate election.
Also, people were allowed to vote a total of three times in the election
of general committee members, hence the high total there.
