bootcamp/macos? other options?

I just got asked about bootcamp for mac;

as far as I found, it comes included with MacOS 10.5;
presumedly, if one upgrades to 10.5, they'll get bootcamp;

what other options are there for running windoze on macOS?

my initial thoughts was, if it comes with MacOS, that's the way to go;
which is what I told the user

suggestions/recomendations welcomed
