Re: windoze remote desktop alternatives?

It's the 64 upstream that'll be the killer, but RDP will even work
over dialup. Just drop all the quality settings (configuration is
client side), reduce colours, no background, use classic interface not
XP shininess, etc. and it's all good.

VNC seems to be slower, in my experience.

I RDP from Mac (client) to Win2K3 and WinXP RDP servers and it works
fine. I use TSclientX from the Mac, because the Microsoft provided Mac
client has a bug with drive mappings that irritates other users when
the server is hosting multiple RDP sessions.

Plenty of RDP client options for Mac and Linux and the standard mstsc
works fine on Windows.
