The thing I don't like about VNC is when I press Alt-Tab it switches between
the client's desktop taskbar menus.

When in RDC fullscreen mode, Alt-Tab switches between your RDC
session's/target desktop taskbar menus (instead of the client) and feels
more natural.

Imo you can't use Windows without Alt-Tab (!).
