A friend who lives in the states has had one for some months and
begrudgingly admits to liking it more than she has any right to ..
whatever that means.

She is sufficiently geeky to know the difference, so it's one of those
anecdotes that you might take notice of.

OTOH, I doubt Apple will like anyone running linux on it.

Personally, I'm old fashioned enough to like a phone that basically
makes phone calls. Is that narrow minded?
