I think it depends on the person/group of people. Some people I know  
see the 19 inch monitors as allowing them to get more virtual  
terminals side by side, and still think 80 columns is the way to go.  
This is, of course, a religious debate.

Mark, who has horrible memories of long arguments about this issue  
when he was working as a programmer. What a waste of time.
