Damn, that's impressive indeed.  Do you have the model numbers/names  
of the laptops so I can look up more info on them?

Apple do have a battery replacement service for batteries that start  
running low on charge:

(Ditto for the iPod & iPhone).

And just as a general, the average temperature that a battery's  
exposed to makes a huge difference.  My laptops don't tend to run too  
hot, and my batteries tend to last around two to two and a half years  
before they start degrading significantly; some of my friends have  
been known to have batteries that degrade after only nine months or a
