Hi, PCi-e 16 is what you need for gaming, i would suggest an Nvidia 8600 GTS for a budget setup, you can source a new one for as little as 79$ new (http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=8600+gts&spos=3). I use the Leadtek version of this card and it runs everything nicely (everything=Battlefield 2142, Battlefield 2, Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty 5, Pure) it runs Supreme Commander on two monitors just fine. Strategy games such as Wow are less demanding on video hardware than First Person games so i don't think you need an expensive video card for your needs. >From experience, do not buy a cheap video card with lots of memory thinking that 'it will do', If you want quality graphics go for a card with a GTS or GTX suffix, these cards usually have higher frequency memory resulting in higher detail graphics with attention to quality. If you cant afford a 9600GTX go for older 8600gts or even 7900GTX. You will thank yourself and it is hard to go back to vanilla Nvidia GT cards afterwards because of all the pretty detail GTS/GTX cards offer. All the best!
