adsl2 humm on cordless

I've just transferred adsl to adsl2+; all equipment unaltered
I have two cordless pots phones, old Panasonic TC1230, 2 year old Telstra
V900
ever since switch over, the phones exhibit low level humm on calls, more
so on the old (low freq) Panasonic
do I need 'updated' line filters for adsl2??
spliter filters are Telstra branded 'C10' made adsl 1 vintage
