Yes, I expect a “reality” TV contest show to embarrass, humiliate, misrepresent
and generally exploit its contestants.  I don't know why you assume that I don't
expect that[1], and my post wasn't about that.  I was pointing out the hypocrisy
of paying lip-service to embracing the unique qualities of individuals while
reinforcing stereotypes.

[1] In fact, I'm even more inclined to expect it when the description of the
    show is so hypocritical!
