That is a pretty common claim. It has been leveled against them in, off the top of my head: 1. Netscape vs Internet Explorer. 2. Requiring an OEM to pay for a Windows license on all hardware, regardless of which OS is loaded on the machine. 3. OOXML vs ODF through standards bodies. 4. Protocol interoperability restrictions and documentation. 5. Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt based marketing. 6. The use of patent pools to threaten vendors over the use of Linux. 7. Licensing terms for Windows on netbook class hardware. I could probably go on, but really. While it may or may not be *true*, this is pretty much a routine claim about their behaviour.
