Hello, my name is Nico, I'm from Germany. I'm planning to visit Australia in march 2010 for a working holiday. I hope to learn more English in this days. About Me: I'm 24 years old and working as an IT expert at a software company. I have LPIC 1 and I'm working on LPIC 2. I'm in two societies: 1) Wuppertaler Linux User Group (WupLUG) http://wuplug.org (Wuppertal is a Town near Cologne or Dusseldorf) This site is unfortunately only available in German. We meet us every 2 weeks in a restaurant / pub. For the barkeeper we have programmed an Internet Access Control. So only the guest can go online and not the guys on the street ;) 2) "Das Labor" -the laboratory- http://das-labor.org At the Labor were many Geeks programming, soldering and do a lot of cool things. This site has some English content. For example https://www.das-labor.org/wiki/Blinken_Borgs/en . Borgs are LED Matrix with funny animations. Look at this youtube video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=UmjC5r4nDfo I would like to meet you, at your SLUG meetings. Maybe is it possible to find a job or a place to sleep ;) I think it might be interesting to share our experience with Linux and other geek stuff ;) Maybe you have a tip for the best mobile phone, the cheapest internet station, the best food supply, ... and other stuff a geek need ;) I hope to hear from you!
