And nobody supports SSL. Gatling can simply be started in the folder you to share, uses unix ACL for access control and serves files via cifs/http/ftp. If you also run avahi-deamon, you can tell the peer to simply go to https://myHostName to get the files. Unfortunately, Windows apears to prefer this zeroconfig stuff over DHCP. Even with SuSE Linux I once spend an hour trying to find out why DHCP did not work, until I finally remembered my avahi-deamon.
