I have a WRT54GL<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linksys_WRT54G_series#WRT54GL>with Tomato <http://www.polarcloud.com/tomato> firmware. It's very stable and fast so if you find it cheap somewhere, it should be a good choice.
