I don't recall the topic I used.. perhaps an inappropriate one.

I'm not expert enough to tell if the NBN as proposed is a good idea, but 
then again I doubt that Conroy or Abbott or even Turnbull are either.

Obviously everyone would like fibre, but how practical is it in real and 
economic terms, and will it really be that much better than high quality 
copper? Will  it solve the tyranny of distance in the bush?
