Dean, I don't think so, the mobile is on Optus, and, we're using port 587, plus= , the rejection message that pops on iPhone seems to be ISP's smtp rejectio= n from the rejection message, it seems to me that iPhone is talking to ISP'= s SMTP, not the SMTP that i can see, seems as though there is some additional SMTP definition somewhere maybe I need to line up on the idiot side of the genius bar..
