I used to go to slug meetings down at the Woolloomooloo Hotel years ago
IIRC (in fact, roughly a decade or more), with mates from CSE/CompSoc@UNSW.

I was never an official member but enjoyed the interaction and subsequent
learning via osmosis and am looking to getting myself back into the
wonderful world of Linux and learning as much as I can along the way.

BTW, I studied Chemistry and not Computer Science (I tried first session
and failed dismally:P).

So, Hello World! I hope I don't hermit it up too much and actually come
along to the meetings.

If any of the guys from those days are still around here, you may remember
me and so "Hi and LTNS!".

Oh and before I forget, is there still an IRC server/channel for slug? I
can't seem to find it on the site.
