I personally think the issue is one of preference I would be interested in
hereing about a great new product if and only if it brings benefits to the
foss community. Microsoft 2008 has just copied a ton of features that have
been available to foss based servers for a long time. If microsoft is able
to make it 1. fast 2. stable 3. 'open' 4. plays fair 5. PAYS US FOR THE USE
OF OUR IDEAS THAT THEY HAVE NOW STOLEN ( ;) i love patents). Then they can
come and talk to us about how much their product is like ours.
