-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi there! I'm doing some training up in Sydney next month and I finish on the night of the SLUG meeting. I'd be happy to do either of my two SELinux talks - SELinux for Beginners or SELinux for Sysadmins. I can supply the Impress slides if you wish to review the material beforehand. I leave it up to you as to which slots you'd prefer to fill for those talks. Some more details are: SELinux for Beginners: Paul Wayper will give a quick introduction to SELinux - specifically, how to deal with it in everyday life. He will cover checking and restoring permissions, changing the SELinux options, and the broader question of how to deal with a SELinux alert. SELinux for Sysadmins: Paul will be talking about getting SELinux to work with your system. In his previous talk, Paul talked about getting your system to work with SELinux. This involved resetting security contexts so that they were what SELinux expected. However, many people have customised their Linux installs and want SELinux to do what they say, not the other way around. Situations such as serving web pages from NFS shares or non-standard directories, or installing applications in custom locations, need specialised configuration of SELinux in order to make it work with your needs. These and other situations will be covered in the talk. Please let me know ASAP if you would like me to deliver either of these.
