To provide some historical perspective, SLUG was incorporated years before Linux Australia existed as a major force. Our incorporation means that we must deal with a lot of tedious paperwork and administration ourselves. I fully support centralising such organisation into the hands of Linux Australia, if they'll have us. It'll also save us a lot on duplicate costs, such as on public liability insurance. As a nice side effect, it'll mean more fun and less work for the Committee, which should flow onto the rest of the community. -- Bring choice back to your computer. http://www.linux.org.au/linux -- SLUG Activities Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
