Good discussion last night..it may have been useful for 
everyone in the room to have introduced themselves. I have 
updated wikipedia's disambiguation of slug to include SLUG.

...couple of further ideas, I would like to throw around.

*single slide  (ie 5 dot point) 10 minute talks/soapbox.
*Annual SLUG Fest[ival] (SIGS)
*bimonthly talks at Google/BOFs
*alternate month meetings in the pub/restaurant - BYO 
laptop/projector/poster (be creative to get your message 
across) demos round a laptop/netbook/android......

Happy to get involved in the SLUG Website Hackfest, possibly 
only online....

Candidates for managing SLUG Web content were:
-Drupal
-Joomla
-Wiki
-Wordpress

Perhaps need an editor for website...useful to have dot 
points for talks on meeting announcement/webpage. Perhaps 
set pages up now for all events - date, venue...can be blank 
initially, in draft mode,  until week before meeting, where 
event is locked down.

Can the calendars discussed do this?
