I'm not a current SLUG financial member (but have been in the past). I'm also not sure whether this is a good or a bad idea for SLUG. However if the motion is carried, it would seem that Linux Australia would need to be supportive of the propositions it contains. As such, would it not seem appropriate that a post of the motion be sent to the LA list, so at least to prepare them for their future consideration?
