Hi, Can I volunteer a May lightning talk on keyboards and Emacs? It is a quick light hearted history of shift/control keys, and how Emacs has so many key bindings. Emacs: "There IS a keystoke for that" I will look at ways of avoiding the pain caused by using multiple shift keys. From the unconventional - hardware hacking, to more common ideas such as alternative keymaps and layouts. How the mice slow things down and can cause even greater problems. Then what to do when you run out of keys to bind to! After all Emacs has already has 1500 default key bindings -- so the glass is already half full.
