even after failed amavisd start, where 'ls socket_file' fails:
# ls /var/spool/amavisd/clamd.sock
ls: cannot access /var/spool/amavisd/clamd.sock: No such file or directory
'lsof' still shows /var/spool/amavisd/clamd.sock as valid ?
