Dear Animal Libbers, I am writing to you to inform you of a terrible situation involving a little known but important animal, the GNU, that is being poorly treated. You can see a picture of a happy GNU but serious at http://www.gnu.org/. These lovely and contented creatures just wish to roam the shores of the C and look at interesting Shells they find. They can often be found browsing on the free and open range file systems. However I know of some of these poor creatures that are being forced to work using Visual C++ and Monad, and they have so much trouble browsing the rocky slopes of Samba Land. They are not happy as their arms and fingers get so tired continually pulling down menus all the time instead of using Ctrl-x Ctrl-s or :w. Perhaps you can organise a march or something to protect this free spirited creature from exploitation. Your sincerely, Another oft stepped on creature a SLUG. -- Michael Lake Science Faculty, UTS Ph: 9514 8232 Fx: 9514 1460 -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html -- SLUG Pearls http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/pearls
